Shri Dilip Kumar Varma

Coming from a highly respected and well-educated family, Mr Varma was a bright student, who not only excelled in academics but also won several laurels in extra-curricular activities, throughout his formative years. He choose to study science and won a gold medal in MSc (Zoology) from Osmania University.
He began his professional life with the Oriental Bank of Commerce. In a banking career that lasted over three decades, Mr Varma earned a reputation of being an upright professional and was regarded highly for his principles, dedication and discipline.
During his stint with the Oriental Bank of Commerce, he was unanimously elected as the General Secretary of Employees Union.
The fact that he continues to hold this position even today, years after his retirement, speaks volumes about his professional integrity and reputation.
In the course of his service, he helped scores of employees in getting for their grievances duly redressed, resolved conflict situations and addressed numerous meetings and conferences.
Mr Varma laid the foundation of the Richmonds High School drawing on these high principles of integrity and perseverance. Since its inception, he has worked relentlessly to facilitate the growth of the school into a center of world-class learning.
Despite a hectic schedule, the events organized in the school have always ranked high on his priority. In his capacity as the chairman, his prime focus remains on providing top notch infrastructure, implementing prescribed safety measures and creating a holistic academic environment.
As a seasoned professional who has dealt with employee issues during his long-drawn career, he understands the nuances of employee managements well and uses this experience to create a congenial work environment in the organization.
